How to Enable the Clone Drone Twitch Web Extension as a Viewer

This is a guide to enabling the Clone Drone Twitch Extension on a Stream. The Clone Drone Twitch Extension is the Twitch Mode interface that overlays on top of Twitch streams on desktop web browsers.

Twitch recently changed their steps to enable access to Twitch usernames, which is required to have the game show viewers names on top of their spawned enemies. Because of this, Clone Drone Twitch extension’s built-in instructions popup became slightly out of date, so follow the steps on this page instead.

How to Enable the Twitch Extension as a Viewer

Mouse over the screen, and click the Clone Drone in the Danger Zone button.

Click “Manage Access”

Click “Grant”. This lets the game show your username on top of bots you spawn.

Refresh the Twitch page. (This step wasn’t previously required). Once it loads, you should see the coin counter loading spinner:

And then once it connects, it should show an updating coin count from the game:

Here's a short version of this guide you could use for a channel macro:

On a desktop web browser: (1) Mouse over the screen, and click the Clone Drone in the Danger Zone button. (2) Click “Manage Access”. (3) Click “Grant”. This lets the game show your username on top of bots you spawn. (4) Refresh the Twitch page. Once it loads, you should see the coin counter loading spinner. Once it connects, it should show an updating coin count from the game.

If you’re having trouble with the extension (or you’re on Twitch mobile chat or a TV integration, which does not have extension support), you can always use the chat integration. Typing !commands in chat will link to the list of commands that can be used to do all the same actions as the extension allows.

Let us know if you are still having trouble with the extension on the forums, on Discord #troubleshooting or emailing us directly at support@doborog.com and we can help debug what’s going on!
